Wishing a great Christmas break to all our budding athletes.
On Sunday our Palmerston North Club will be hosting its annual Ribbon Day, commencing at 10am and finishing with relays around 330pm. This is for all the Manawatu and Wanganui Clubs.We welcome all our athletes to participate. A full programme of normal events will be held for each age group for those aged 7 to Adults. Events for the Tiny Tots will also be held (this will be a few sprints and shuttle relays).Club members are expected to wear their PN club uniform, consisting of the PN singlet plus black shorts. If you do not have one of the singlets, please contact Darren Gray (021611995 or email pip_dman@xtra.co.nz<mailto:pip_dman@xtra.co.nz>),
and we will arrange for sale of these at the start of the day. You will also need your age group flash fully fastened.Other essential items to bring are sunhat, sun cream, water, shoes (the track can
get very hot on sunny days), adequate drinks and lunch.

Christmas is approaching fast and Vanessa and I are planning a PNAHC Christmas lunch on the 17th of December. We will have a BBQ after Saturday's training and exchange our secret Santa gifts. Then we will go bowling at Bowlarama.

What to bring:
Food to share (chips, biscuits, sausages, drinks etc).
1x Unisex Secret Santa gift maximum of $10
Money for Bowling (approx $10)
p.s. If you are attending please comment below what type of food you are able to bring and please state whether you will require transportation from the track to Bowlrama.

Tauranga 6,7,8 January 2012 These events are fantastic experiences for children and spectators. These are being held in Tauranga over 3 days from 6-8 January 2012. They are open to athlete's grades 7-14. Maximum of 4 events (plus relays).
Entries close club night Tuesday 15th November 7pm.

19 June 2011 Congratulations NZSS Cross Country (Timaru)
As so well reported by Alan Adamson in the Manawatu Standard Kara Macdermid representing Awatapu College had a commanding win in the Junior Girls. Joshua Baan (PNBHS) had an excellent 16th place in the Senior Boys. Not least Stephanie DIckins (Feilding High School) with 42nd in the senior girls. Stepanie who has graduated to shorter track events won the NZSS junior girls (like Kara) in New Plymouth back in 2008.

Attached are some details received about accomodation for next January's North Island Colgate Games. The Games will be held in Tauranga from 6 to 8 January 2012. Similarly the South Island Colgate Games will be held in Nelson from 13-15 January 2012.
